Course Content of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) Hands-on Training Camp

This training camp will be held on October 18-19, 2025. The curriculum is rich, combining theory and hands-on practice to help participants learn the Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) technique.

Courses on October 18

• 08:15 - 08:30: Opening ceremony and group photo.

• 08:30 - 09:10: Zhang Wei gives a theoretical lecture on the theoretical basis of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE).

• 09:10 - 09:40: Zhu Chengyue delivers a theoretical lecture on the operation process of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE).

• 09:40 - 10:00: Zhao Zhitao presents a theoretical lecture on the clinical application of spinal cord electrical stimulation therapy.

• 10:00 - 10:20: Zhang Ming explains the design and application of the UBE lock-target cavity expansion channel in a theoretical lecture.

• 10:20 - 10:30: Tea break.

• 10:30 - 11:40: Zhang Wei conducts operation demonstrations on UBE lumbar endoscopic anatomy, UBE lumbar discectomy, lumbar UBE annulus fibrosus suture technique, UBE lumbar ULBD technique, and UBE lumbar contralateral approach technique;

• 11:40 - 12:00: On-site Q&A session, with all participants involved.

• 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch and rest.

• 13:00 - 17:30: All participants conduct group hands-on practice on UBE lumbar endoscopic anatomy.

Courses on October 19

• 08:15 - 12:00: All participants carry out group hands-on practice on UBE lumbar discectomy and lumbar UBE annulus fibrosus suture technique.

• 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch and rest.

• 13:00 - 17:30: All participants perform group hands-on practice on UBE lumbar ULBD technique and UBE lumbar contralateral approach technique.
